It’s that time of year again. Yes, it’s time for me to make another football post. Since we last discussed this wonderful sport, some big news has happened. Brett Favre is gone…hopefully, the Jets are jokes, and the Patriots are playing like it’s 2003. So, without further ado, here’s what is going to happen in the next few weeks.
The Colts will beat the Jets….probably the only time I will ever root for Peyton in a playoff game.
The Chiefs, with Charlie Weis, Romeo Crennell, Mike Vrabel, and Matt Cassel, will shock the world and beat the Ravens. Which will eventually lead to Ray Lewis killing someone..again.
The Packers will beat the Eagles….probably should consider firing Andy Reid.
The Saints will win…but not as easily as you’d think. The Saints are very good, but crazier things have happened. How about the ’08 Cardinals getting to the Super Bowl?..whatever…Saints move on.
The real Pats will destroy the fake Pats….won’t be close.
The Steelers will hang on to beat the Colts. This is not Peyton’s finest team. Party at Big Ben‘s after, WOO!!
Packers beat the Falcons. Matty Ice will be out-dueled by Aaron Rodgers, showing all the flaws that Atlanta has.
Bears over Saints. The rematch of the 2006(?) NFC Championship…except this time Chicago has Julius Peppers and Jay Cutler instead of Sexy Rexy Grossman. That Saints magic will run out.
Pats over Steelers. We’ve just always had their number. Should be an instant classic.
Packers over Bears in the NFC North showdown. I’ve thought the Packers were the best team in the NFC since the beginning of the year, but injuries have plagued them. Aaron Rodgers will soon become Drew Brees. As in, he’ll become famous all over the place after winning a big game.
The rematch of ’97. Favre vs. Bledsoe. Rodgers vs. Brady. Pats win. What’s good?
